Dispositivos foram encontrados em caixas despachadas como encomendas – Fotos: PRF/TO
Publicado em 25/02/2025 10h50Na manhã desta segunda-feira (24), por volta das 10 horas, a Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF) apreendeu 152 Dispositivos Eletrônicos para Fumar (DEF), em Guaraí/TO.
Durante fiscalização no km 332 da BR-153, a equipe PRF deu ordem de parada a um ônibus de transporte rodoviário SCANIA/MPOLO PARADISO, que tinha como origem São Paulo/SP e destino final Tianguá/CE.
Ao inspecionar o compartimento de carga do veículo, os policiais localizaram duas caixas despachadas como encomenda: a primeira continha 27 dispositivos eletrônicos para fumar – DEF (conhecido popularmente como cigarro eletrônico) e a segunda, com 125 unidades.
O material estava desacompanhado de qualquer documentação fiscal.
De acordo com a Resolução da Diretoria Colegiada RDC n° 855/2024, a comercialização, importação e propaganda de todos os tipos de dispositivos eletrônicos para fumar são proibidas no Brasil desde 2009 pela Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (Anvisa).
Diante das informações obtidas, foi constatada, a princípio, as ocorrências de contrabando. As mercadorias foram apreendidas e encaminhadas à Receita Federal de Palmas/TO para os demais procedimentos necessários.
