Luciano Frontelle, do Partido Verde, é anunciado como facilitador da COP-30 para a Juventude

Conferência da ONU de Juventude sobre mudanças climáticas acontecerá concomitantemente à COP-30, em Belém.

Luciano Frontelle, membro do Partido Verde, foi escolhido para compor o time de facilitadores da COY – 20ª Conferência de Crianças e Jovens Sobre Mudanças Climáticas, da ONU. O evento, acontece no âmbito da COP-30, em Belém.

Membro da Secretaria Nacional de Juventude, do Partido Verde, ele integra os quadros do Conselho Nacional de Juventude, da Presidência da República.

Ativista, atua há 6 anos a frente da organização Plant-for-the-Planet, de educação ambiental e sensibilização de crianças e jovens sobre a crise climática, iniciativa que acontece em vários países do mundo.

Luciano se manifestou sobre a posição.

“Estou muito feliz em poder anunciar que fui selecionado juntamente com Roaa Dafaallah, do Sudão. O nosso papel será o de ser o ponto de contato da organização local da conferência com a YOUNGO, garantido que o evento siga os guias e princípios da constituinte. Além disso, temos a responsabilidade de apoiar na busca por parceiros, ser ponto de contato com outros atores interessados e garantir que o evento aconteça da melhor forma possível, na posição de facilitadores”, comentou.

Emocionado, Luciano agradeceu a oportunidade e reforçou o compromisso de impulsionar a participação significativa de crianças e jovens junto à COP, que será presidida pelo embaixador André Corrêa e terá a direção executiva de Ana Toni.

Frontelle participou em 2014 da COY em Lima. “Essa será a minha última como parte da constituinte. Me despeço numa posição de grande responsabilidade”, finalizou.
