Mato Grosso do Sul teve um salto de quase 9,5% no superávit da balança comercial no mês de janeiro, atingindo US$ 529 milhões.
As exportações também avançaram no mês passado com alta de 0,9% no valor, somando US$ 739 milhões, segundo dados divulgados ontem (10) na Carta de Conjuntura Comércio Exterior da Semadesc (Secretaria de Estado de Meio Ambiente, Desenvolvimento, Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação).
Entre os principais produtos exportados, a celulose liderou a pauta, representando 53,3% do valor total das exportações, somando US$ 394,1 milhões.
Em seguida, destacou-se a carne bovina, com 13,9% de participação, com US$ 102,5 milhões. As receitas com a celulose subiram 186,6% em relação ao mesmo período do ano anterior.
Na análise dos setores exportadores de Mato Grosso do Sul, a Indústria de Transformação cresceu 51,9% em valor e 47,8% em volume.
Em contrapartida, a Agropecuária caiu 86% em movimentação e 85,7% em volume. A Indústria Extrativa também apresentou retração, com 25,3% no rendimento. Outros produtos tiveram a maior alta, com 11.411% na receita e 3.232% em volume.
A economista Bruna Mendes, coordenadora de economia da Semadesc, destaca que MS tem exibido um sólido desempenho nas exportações, impulsionado por commodities e produtos agrícolas.
“O constante superávit comercial destaca a capacidade econômica do estado. As exportações aumentaram de US$ 383,4 milhões em 1997 para US$ 10,6 bilhões em 2023, com um avanço significativo a partir de 2005 na série histórica”, comentou.
De acordo com o secretário de Estado, Jaime Verruck, o resultado é um reflexo da política de desenvolvimento do Governo.
“O balanço de exportações de Mato Grosso do Sul, ele começa a refletir exatamente toda a política de desenvolvimento industrial e agroindustrial do Governo Riedel. Primeiro, nós tivemos um resultado positivo de ampliação das exportações, avanço das exportações da agroindústria, da indústria de transformação sul-mato-grossense. Eu acho que isso é um ponto crucial, um crescimento em 51% em relação ao mesmo período ano passado”, salientou.
Ele reforça que o resultado da indústria foi impulsionado pela cadeia da celulose.
“Este desempenho positivo é foi puxado também pelo início das atividades da Suzano de Ribas do Rio Pardo, e o destaque das exportações pra China, que permanece com o nosso principal cliente, com 41% do total exportado e algumas questões importantes no sentido de saída de produtos”, acrescentou.
No contexto regional, Três Lagoas lidera com uma participação de 31,1% no valor total exportado, registrando um aumento de 30,8% em relação ao ano anterior.
Ribas do Rio Pardo em segundo lugar, teve fatia de 25,1%, e Campo Grande com 6,5%.
O município de Ribas do Rio Pardo, por outro lado, destacou-se com um aumento de 5.933% em relação ao mesmo período do ano passado.
Destino
Em termos de destino das exportações, a China permanece como o principal destino dos produtos do MS, representando cerca de 41,7% no valor total.
Em destaque nas exportações do MS, a Itália que possui um aumento de 245,5% e Bangladesh com 497,2%, ambos comparados com o mesmo período de 2024.
No quesito de portos utilizados para a exportação por Mato Grosso do Sul, o Porto de Santos é a principal saída dos produtos exportados em janeiro de 2025, representando 60,4% do total exportado pelo Estado.
Em seguida vêm o Porto de Paranaguá, com uma participação de 20,9%.
“O Porto de Santos começa nesse período que ainda não temos a safra de soja, sendo o principal porto. Então acho que é relevante o aumento das exportações tem um reflexo direto na questão do crescimento do PIB do Mato Grosso do Sul, que tem essa previsão de 4.4% ao ano e consequentemente demonstra também o quanto que a política de desenvolvimento tem gerado os resultados nas exportações”, avaliou o titular da Semadesc.
Importações
As importações tiveram redução de 15,7%, totalizando US$ 209 milhões.
O ‘Gás natural, liquefeito ou não’ se destaca como principal produto importado, representando 46,5% da pauta de importações.
Uma retração de -20,1% dos valores verificados no mesmo período de 2024.
